County engineer's office announces Madison and Clearcreek Township road closures

LANCASTER − With road construction season underway, Fairfield County Engineer's Jeremiah Upp's office announced two road closures in Madison Township and one in Clearcreek Township for this week.

Here are the closures:

  • The county will close Julian Road (Fairfield 78) in Madison Township Thursday through Friday to remove and replace an existing culvert. The closure will be on Julian Road between Drinkle and Landis roads. Construction will occur between 5433 and 5420 Julian Road. The link to the closure is https://maps.app.goo.gl/bjhW8zCKNJRkd2VW6.

  • The county will also close the Julian Road/Landis Road intersection Wednesday to remove and replace and existing culvert. Construction will be at the intersection and at 5306 Julian Road. The link to the closure is https://maps.app.goo.gl/Nt6JPnBzmmkD4ytD9.

  • The engineer's office will close Winchester-Southern Road (Fairfield 2) in Clearcreek Township Thursday to remove and replace an existing culvert.
