The Palm Beach Post's first of the last All-County teams for the 2023-24 school year is here!

Local boys weightlifters are first up in our annual feature honoring the best of the best in high school sports this spring.

At the live show for this spring's Palm Beach County High School Sports Awards on Wednesday, June 5, at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, the Boys Weightlifter of the Year will be announced, along with the teams, coaches, and athletes of the year, and The Post's Courage Award winner. The Palm Beach County High School Sports Awards show is part of the USA TODAY High School Sports Awards, the largest high school sports recognition program in the country.

Chris Lovrekovic, Park Vista

Fifth-place finish in 3A Traditional 154-pound division with lift of 545; regional champion in Traditional competition; district champion in Traditional competition and runner-up in Olympic.

Noah Rusniak, Wellington

Fifth-place finish in 3A Traditional 183-pound division with lift of 590; region champion in Traditional and third-place in Olympic; district champion in Traditional and Olympic competitions.

Bobby T. Smith, Boynton Beach

State runner-up in 2A Traditional 199-pound division with lift of 665; region champion in Traditional competition and runner-up in Olympic; district champion in Traditional and Olympic competitions.

Frankie Vomero, Palm Beach Central

Fourth place in 3A Traditional 199-pound division and 10th in Olympic competition with lifts of 620 and 495, respectively; third and fourth place in Traditional and Olympic competitions at regionals, respectively; district champion in Traditional and Olympic competitions.

Angel Quintero, Forest Hill

Second in 3A Olympic 154-pound division with lift of 510; region champion in Olympic competition; district champion in Olympic competition.

Micah Stuckey, Olympic Heights

Stuckey spent the spring coaching the Lions to field five top 10 finishers at the 3A state championships at RP Funding Center in Lakeland. At regionals, Olympic Heights claimed the team championship in the Olympic competition and came in sixth in Traditional.
