Country Music Fans Praised Little Big Town and Sugarland for the "Most Amazing" Performance at the CMT Awards
Little Big Town and Sugarland joined forces Sunday night at the CMT Music Awards in Austin, Texas, giving us all a preview of what is to come later this year.
The two country powerhouse bands boast a collective 44 lifetime CMT Music Award nominations and 8 wins. They last performed together at the awards show in 2008, and since then, Little Big Town has hosted CMT Awards twice in 2018 and 2019.
Ahead of their group performance of Phil Collins' hit "Take Me Home" off of his 1985 album No Jacket Required, the bands announced that they'll be touring together this year! After the big announcement, their performance was just the icing on the cake, and many fans agree, the best performance of the night.

Fans sounded off in the comments, applauding the musical masterpiece. "So great. Best of the night by far," "This was seriously the most amazing performance of the night. Appropriately, their performance of "Take Me Home" kicks off their Take Me Home tour which begins in Greenville, South Carolina, on October 4. Emerging country trio, The Castellows, will also join Sugarland and Little Big Town on the road.
Tickets to see the whole crew, including: Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush of Sugarland and Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook of Little Big Town, go on presale on Tuesday, April 9 at 10 am, while tickets open to the public on Friday, April 12. They will visit a total of 18 cities, ending their tour in Nashville on December 13.
