MISHAWAKA — An 18-acre tract with connections to Dragoon Trail and Bremen Highway is being sought for a single-family subdivision by developers asking for annexation from the Common Council.

Daryl Knip of Abonmarche Associates, representing developers William Loudin, said the annexation would provide the city a 51-lot subdivision of housing that would run in the $450,000-$500,000 range. The site is located south of Dragoon Trail and east of Bremen Highway.

Knip told the Common Council that the subdivision would have a Dragoon Trail access, and widening and lane modifications would be needed for the entrance. No access to the subdivision would be planned on Bremen Highway.

The annexation request will be considered April 22 at the Common Council meeting.
