As a shopping editor, not only do I get to browse, research, and recommend the best products and biggest deals, but I also have been known to do my fair share of shopping. I suppose that’s one of the dangers of the job, but someone has to do it. So when Target had its seasonal Circle Week Sale recently with thousands of huge deals on furniture, home finds, clothing and accessories, and so much more, I couldn’t resist the urge to grab my favorites for less.

Now that they’ve arrived at my doorstep and are fully in use, I felt it was my duty to share my top Target buys with you, including boots, furniture, soft towels, and more. While I admittedly received more than one (or two) boxes, there were five home and fashion finds that topped my list of must-haves. And though all but one are no longer marked down, they’re still affordable and worth full price.

Keep reading for my highly curated favorite finds from top Target brands like Threshold and Universal Thread.

Editor-Loved Target Circle Week Buys

Threshold Designed With Studio McGee Arbon Accent Table

Target

Target

$190

$152

The space between two of my perpendicular couches had been empty going on three years, and I couldn’t find the missing puzzle piece to complete the space. That is until I came across this accent table from Target’s designer collection Threshold Designed With Studio McGee. I opted for the white color since it was on sale—and luckily, still is—and because my house is mostly gray, helping brighten it up. It fits in with my home’s modern, clean design and is light enough that I can move it myself, but feels sturdy, not wobbly. On top, I placed a coffee table book, small vase with faux plants, and coasters for when I'm drinking tea this season.

Universal Thread Crispin Chelsea Boots

Target

Target

$40

Having a go-to pair of boots in my footwear collection was long overdue, and I had been eyeing this style for some time. At 5 feet tall, I’m always looking for shoes that give me a bit of a boost without sacrificing comfort. From the first wear, these boots checked my boxes. They’re versatile and can be worn with jeans or a midi dress (so far, I’ve done both), and the chunky heel and slight platform, along with a memory foam insole, provide support and cushioning so my feet don’t ache when I’m walking or standing in them. I also like that they’re a bit roomy so I can wear them with thick socks since my feet always feel cold in the winter.

Threshold Performance Plus Oversized Bath Towels

Target

Target

$14

I’ve been looking for some new towels for my whole family, and after having originally felt how soft these are while previously browsing a Target store, I decided to grab a full set so I could get rid of our thin, worn-out towels. These oversized towels offer full coverage after the shower and felt fluffy when I wrapped myself in them. I appreciate that not only do they easily dry my wet skin, but they themselves dry fairly quickly after use—unlike other towels I’ve owned that still feel damp the next shower time. Hundreds of shoppers who gave the towels a five-star rating agree, with one saying they “feel like hotel quality.” The bonus to these towels is that they come with a small loop to hang onto your hook, which was a big benefit since mine continuously fell off and ended up on the floor.

Universal Thread Pullover Sweatshirt

Target

Target

$25

I’ve rarely met a sweatshirt that I didn’t like, but this crewneck from Universal Thread is the ideal mix of cozy and cute. So far, I’ve worn it as both loungewear with a pair of sweatpants and with fitted jeans, hoops, and boots (read: my new Crispin Chelsea Boots above), and it just may be one of my new go-to fall looks. The cotton blend fabric is soft both inside and out, and it falls at just the right spot on me—slightly cropped but with zero risk of exposing my midriff or coming up the back when I sit down, and with a relaxed but not oversized fit. I grabbed it in the black and green, but may go back for more. Customers also want to “buy one in every color” because it’s “very comfortable” and “very cute and fitting,” according to one person.

T-Fal Simply Cook Nonstick Fry Pan Set

Target

Target

$24

I am certainly no chef, but with a family of five, it seems like the oven and stove are always turned on. I’ve needed to update my nonstick frying pans for a while now since they’ve lost the ‘non’ part of their description and didn’t think twice about grabbing this simple T-Fal set of two thanks to its low price. I quickly realized how overused my old pans were when I tested these out on scrambled eggs (the ultimate offender), and they slid right onto my plate without having to scrub remnants left behind. And since I’m hardly a professional, the pan helps in my cooking adventures with its simple red dot indicator that turns solid to let me know it’s at the optimal heat level to make my meal to perfection.

While most of my favorite finds are no longer on sale at Target, they’re still worth snagging to refresh your home and wardrobe.
