Coshocton KOA having open house and family day May 11

COSHOCTON – Coshocton KOA Holiday Campground is having a Glamping open house and family day on May 11 at the campground, 24688 County Road 10.

Over the last four years, six cabins, two glamping tents and five spacious RV sites with concrete patios have been added in the woodland area of the KOA. With the completion of construction, the KOA wants to welcome the community to explore what the cabins and glamping tents have to offer.

The tents offer spacious accommodation at the KOA and feature a full bathroom, kitchen, heat and air conditioning and a deck. The shade of the mature trees in the woodland makes these glamping tents a relaxing getaway throughout the season.

Children are also invited to the open house and can participate in the various activities, typically offered only to campers. This includes recycling or nature crafting, hand-dipped ice cream hour, tie dyeing, ceramic painting, a foam machine, barrel train ride and a big wagon ride. The playground and jump pad will be open throughout the event for kids as well.

M Event Centre, the campground’s indoor venue, will also be open for guests to view the space and have complimentary snacks and Filipino treats like eggrolls. M Event Centre is a banquet facility that hosts weddings, showers, birthday parties and meetings.

Guests will register for the open house at the camp store where they will receive a schedule of activities and property map. The shop will be open for boutique shopping and browsing a unique collection of gifts and items.
