Corrie's Tracy to be confronted over her affair with Tommy

Coronation Street's Tracy McDonald will be confronted over her affair with Tommy Orpington next week, as her betrayal is discovered by husband Steve's best friend, Tim Metcalfe.
Tracy has so far managed to keep her passion with Tommy a secret, but their fling is rumbled this Wednesday when Tim peers into Tracy's bedroom window while helping out Gav Adetiba with his window cleaning round.
Tracy makes out that she and Steve were enjoying some lunchtime fun, but Sally Metcalfe later finds out that Steve was away all day, raising her suspicions.

In scenes that will air on Monday, February 26, Sally and Tim compare notes about what they know about Tracy.
Soon enough, Tim is telling Tracy he knows all about her affair, and that she needs to tell Steve the truth.
Tracy returns home filled with dread, but she's wrong-footed when Steve gets down on one knee and asks her if she will renew their vows. Shocked, Tracy ends up agreeing.
Later on, an excited Steve tells Tim the news and asks him to be his best man.

Will Tim tell Steve that Tracy is sleeping with his hero, Tommy Orpington?
Actor Matt Milburn, who plays Tommy, has previously spoken about his character's sense of guilt over what he's doing to Steve.

"He likes Steve and he's definitely not out to hurt anyone," the actor explained. "But at the same time, the guilt isn't driving him under the ground either. He's not the one that's married so I suppose he doesn't carry the majority of the guilt."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
