Coronation Street's Tim Metcalfe angers Sally in Steve dating storyline

Coronation Street's Tim Metcalfe is going to anger his wife Sally in upcoming scenes from Steve McDonald's dating storyline.
Steve has decided to jump into the dating pool after Tracy decided she'd rather pursue things with Tommy Orpington instead of fixing her marriage, after her affair with Tommy was discovered.
In scenes set to air next Wednesday (May 1), Steve meets up with his internet date Carole in the Rovers, but he's taken aback to see that she has bought three of her friends with her.

Aurora, one of those friends, beckons Tim to come and join them and refuses to take no for an answer.
Sally then pops into the pub and sees Tim giggling away with a drunken woman. It's safe to say she's not impressed. The question isn't 'is Tim in trouble?' but 'how much trouble is Tim in?'.
She isn't the first woman who will be annoyed as Steve's dating storyline kicks off next week either, as Abi Webster will be fuming at some sexist comments made by Kevin over one of Steve's online matches.
Can Steve find someone nice before he accidentally ticks off half of Weatherfield?
While it hasn't been announced how long his single status will last, Steve actor Simon Gregson has stated that he wants Steve to be single "for a while".
"Steve could have a full on midlife crisis, maybe we could see him losing weight, changing his appearance, going to the gym," the actor said.

"It could be a lot of fun and also a great excuse for me to make some changes in real life!"
In terms of what his ideal romantic partner for Steve would be, Gregson added: "I think anyone will do. At this point in Steve's life he'd be lucky to have anybody!"
