Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street has unveiled full details of the soap's upcoming Sarah Barlow murder plan plotline.

Viewers will know that Adam Barlow recently struck a deal to help villain Harvey Gaskell with his appeal in exchange for Harvey helping to get Adam's love rival Damon Hay (also Harvey's brother) out of the way.

Harvey recently put Adam in contact with a man called John Perry, who was willing to falsely confess to Natasha Blakeman's murder as his cancer means he doesn’t have long left to live.

In new scenes airing on Monday (March 4), Adam signs the divorce papers for Sarah, though feels increasing sadness and guilt over his recent deal with Harvey, and decides to go back on it by deleting the prisoner's appeal document.

He also puts the USB of CCTV footage that exonerates John in a jiffy bag, marking it with the words: "The murder of Natasha Blakeman."

Harvey quickly gets wind of the betrayal and calls Adam angrily, aware that the police now have the footage before warning him to watch his back.
