Coronation Street confirms sad split for Asha and Nina after kiss drama
Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street has confirmed that Asha and Nina are to split up, following kiss drama involving Asha’s twin brother Aadi.
The couple have struggled with their relationship in recent weeks after Asha started her paramedic training, and last night’s episode (January 10) saw Asha mistakenly accuse Nina of reporting her mentor Isla for having an inappropriate interest in her.

A furious Nina sought comfort in Aadi, who had his own row with Amy that evening. Aadi listened to her insecurities and complimented her. The pair then shared a kiss, before a shocked Nina walked away.
Later this week, Asha is set to find out about her brother and girlfriend’s betrayal during her birthday lunch, leaving her devastated.
Things will get even worse for Aadi, as he ends up unconscious in his flat after suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning, with the alarm broken.

Asha visits the flat and thinks he is just sleeping on the sofa, unaware of the danger he is in. She throws her bracelet, a birthday present from her brother, at Aadi, saying she never wants to see him again.
In scenes that are to air next week, Aadi is recovering in hospital. Dev tells his son he won’t let him return to the flat after his carbon monoxide scare and he’s coming home with them.
Asha reveals that she and Nina have broken up after the fallout from the kiss and that Nina has moved out, leaving Aadi feeling terrible.

Asha later helps Aadi pack up his flat and he finds her bracelet, forcing his sister to reveal that she was at the flat while he was lying unconscious.
Elsewhere, Roy tells niece Nina that she’s welcome to move back into her old bedroom, and he’ll have a word with Evelyn who is currently staying there.
Is there any hope for the couple, or is this really the end for Asha and Nina?
