Cops break up ‘exorcism’ of dead trees at Pennsylvania Home Depot

Police broke up an “exorcism” in the lumber aisle of a home-improvement store in northeast Pennsylvania this week, authorities said.

Cops were responding to a report of disorderly people at the Home Depot in Dickson City, a Lackawanna County community about 4 miles north of Scranton, when they found a group performing an apparent exorcism “for the dead trees” in the lumber aisle, according to a police blotter shared on Facebook.

The alleged exorcists were escorted out of the building without further incident, police said. No additional details have been released as no charges have been filed.

The bizarre investigation happened around 3 p.m. Monday after a report of “bad behavior” inside the store, local news station WBRE reported.
