The Coolest Star Wars LEGO Sets You Can Buy on Amazon
"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links."
The Star Wars franchise is almost as big as the galaxy far, far away where it's set, which means there's a lot (and we mean a lot) of themed merchandise out there for fans. But in our opinion, LEGO is the best buy, because not only is the finished product a cool replica you can keep, but you also get the fun experience of assembling it—which is sort of how we can justify the splurgy price point on some of these wow-factor sets.
These elevated kids can be really elaborate, but you don't need to be a Jedi master to put them together: They come with step-by-step assembly instructions that even a young Padawan can follow. There are highly detailed sets, like the coveted Millennium Falcon and AT-AT, or simpler models of famous ships and helmets to get you started on your LEGO journey. Here are 17 of our favorites that you can get on Amazon with speedy Prime shipping (and that's almost as good as using the force!).
Chewbacca
This foot-and-a-half-tall Chewbacca is built from over 2,300 pieces that are connected in a way that somehow captures the famous Wookie's fur. He comes with his bandolier, bowcaster, plus a minifig version of him.
Darth Vader Helmet
There is a series of Star Wars helmets you can collect and display—including this Mandalorian one—but our favorite is Darth Vader. At only eight inches tall when finished, this legendary baddie will make a great addition to your bookcase.
Boba Fett’s Throne Room
Bring to life the centerpiece of The Book of Boba Fett with seven minifigs and interactive features like an ejector seat and tilting stairs. Add this small version of Boba Fett's distinctive ship for extra detail.
R2-D2
Designed for the 50th anniversary of Lucasfilm in 2021, this R2-D2 remains a fave. It doesn't beep or boop, but it does have a rotating head, retractable leg, and even a hidden lightsaber compartment.
Endor Speeder Chase Diorama
If you like to display LEGO sets, consider a diorama like this one that looks just like a snapshot of a scene from Return of the Jedi.
TIE Bomber
This TIE Bomber has some interactive features like stud shooters that blast out small plastic discs, which is great if you are the kind of person that likes to play with your LEGO sets when completed.
Ultimate Millennium Falcon
For any die-hard fans up for a splurge (or those who want to prove their LEGO dominance), this set is it. But save some space, because at 33 inches long (yes, nearly three feet) when it's done, this 7,500-piece build is one of the largest LEGO sets available. It's packed with secret compartments and minifigs from the original trilogy and the sequels.
Millennium Falcon
If the giant set is too pricey, or you are looking to tackle a build with fewer pieces, this smaller version of the Falcon is a great option. It still has a lot of detail plus seven minifigs, but comes in a more compact 17-inch long size.
Mos Eisley Cantina
The Tattooine hotspot has everything from the cantina's Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes band, Han and Greedo arguing about who shot first, and a whopping 21 minifigs.
The Razor Crest
Snag Mando's former ship and get the cutest minifig of all time, an itty bitty Grogu (aka Baby Yoda). The Razor Crest is 1,023 pieces and has interactive elements like an escape pod and a cargo hold that opens.
'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' Coruscant Guard Gunship
If you are just delving into the LEGO model-building world, this Clone Wars gunship is a great place to start. At over 1,000 pieces and just over a foot long when completed, it includes lots of detail and comes with five minifigs.
Death Star Trench Run
Another pick from the diorama collection, this one features Luke's daring ride through Death Star in his X-wing fighter. You'll have to provide your own, "Use the force, Luke" voiceover, though.
AT-AT Walker
This 6,785-piece posable AT-AT stands close to three feet tall when completed and is another splurge. It comes with nine minifigs, and the side panels open up so you can store up to 40 of your own inside!
Luke Skywalker's Landspeeder
Step up your LEGO skills with this Ultimate Collector Series model. This landspeeder is almost 20 inches long and is even displayed on a stand that makes it look like it is in hover mode. There's also Luke and C-3PO included!
AT-ST
Get your littlest Jedi into LEGO as young as four with this mini Endor playset that has less than 100 pieces. There's an AT-ST, an adorable Ewok lookout, and a speeder bike.
Ultimate Collector Series X-Wing Starfighter
Nearly 2,000 pieces snap together to make this detailed model of Luke Skywalker's famous ship. Mounted so it looks like it's about to take flight, it comes with a plaque with technical specs and R2-D2 in the cockpit.
'Ahsoka' Ghost & Phantom II
This Amazon-exclusive set features not only one but two ships from the Disney+ series, Ahsoka. If you are new to LEGO building, this connects with the LEGO Builder app so you can see 3D instructions for assembling Ghost and the Phantom II shuttle.
