The Continental Finale Sneak Peek: Yen Clashes With a Bendy (and Unbreakable?) Gretel

The Twins’ Gretel shows off some remarkable moves as she clashes with Yen in the above sneak peek from Night 3 of Peacock’s The Continental: From the World of John Wick, streaming this Friday.

In the John Wick prequel series’ action-packed finale — written by Greg Coolidge, Kirk Ward and Ken Kristensen, and directed by exec producer Albert Hughes — Winston’s all-out revenge plan is revealed as he looks to take over the NYC crime operation with plans to transform The Continental from outdated safe house into the upscale destination of filmdom fame.

Of course, doing all of that is far easier said than done, so it will be all hands on deck (and then some) as Winston & Co. plot to infiltrate The Continental and hopefully get a hold of its deadly armory before hotel manager Cormac can do same.

In the sneak peek above, Yen (Nhung Kate) — who has her own beef with Cormac, given the murder of her husband Frankie (aka Winston’s brother) — finds her role in the plan detoured by an extended rooftop fight with the assassin known as Gretel (The Girl in the Woods‘ Marina Mazepa). Press play above to get a small sample of the brutal clash.

Speaking with TVLine, director Albert Hughes described the Yen/Gretel fight as an homage of sorts to the tussles that the OG Dynasty‘s Krystle and Alexis used to engage in, in that The Continental‘s badass women “clash and they do end up in water, but it’s not a traditional cat fight!”
