Who is the Conservative mayoral candidate Susan Hall?
Susan Hall is standing as the Conservative Party candidate in the mayoral elections.
She was leader of the London Conservatives on the London Assembly from December 2019 until May 2023.
She has been a councillor on Harrow London Borough Council since 2006.
She will recruit 1,500 new police officers
Ms Hall says her priority if elected would be to recruit 1,500 new police officers and set up two police bases in every borough, bringing back borough-based policing.
She will also crack down on knife crime with better stop and search and improve women’s safety.
She will scrap the Ulez extension
On transport, Ms Hall says on day one she will scrap the Ulez expansion brought in last year.
She also is against pay-per-mile taxes and will bring back Freedom Passes and the 60+ Oyster Card in peak morning hours.
She will create affordable family homes
Ms Hall says she will create more affordable family homes and remove the "bureaucracy that is stopping the homes we need from being built" in order to make the process more simple.
She will make nightlife safety a priority
On improving culture and creative industries in London, Ms Hall says one of the biggest barriers to enjoying nightlife is safety.
She says she will recruit more police officers and crack down on crime.
She will also put in place a strategy for a 24-hour London, so more venues are open late at night.
She will crack down on waste in City Hall
"We need to make sure we crack down on the waste in City Hall so that we are not burdening Londoners with more and more council tax increases," Ms Hall said.
To help ease the burden of the cost of living she will scrap Ulez and pay-per-mile plans.
