In December 2022, Matt was linked to Canadian model and influencer Charlotte Briar D’Alessio. The Sun reported that the two were “quietly dating for a number of weeks,” however, neither Charlotte nor Matt confirmed the rumors.
FKA Twigs
Matt and British musician FKA Twigs reportedly started dating in late 2019-early 2020. According to E! News, the two artists were spotted together at RuPaul’s DragCon UK 2020 event in January. One source told the outlet that they “were smiling and holding hands” and appeared to be “more than just friends.”
One month later, in February 2020, Page Six reported that the couple appeared to go Instagram official, after Matt shared a photo of himself and FKA Twigs at the NME Awards. But in June 2022, the Daily Mail claimed that the pair split, due to “work commitments.”

Matt was in a long-term relationship with Australian model Gabriella Brooks from 2015 to 2019. According to The Mirror, Gabriella ended things because of Matt’s “very unconventional life.”

In the weeks following, Taylor attended two of The 1975’s concerts, one in Los Angeles and one in New York City, and was spotted wearing a tank with the band’s name while out and about in West Hollywood.
During an appearance on Australia’s Shazam Top 20, Matt called Taylor a “sensation” and admitted that he and the pop star “exchanged numbers.” But in January 2015, the frontman called the romance rumors “ridiculous,” “fake,” and “all a farce,” Page Six reports.
