A study in artificial intelligence

DOVER — On Monday, Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. join systems and technology librarian Nick Gagnon at the Dover Public Library for a demonstration of some artificial intelligence programs such as ChatGPT, Google Bard, Bing Image Creator and more.

Resilient Dover

DOVER — On Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Dover Public Library, municipalities around the globe are acting at the local level to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prepare their communities for forthcoming climate change impacts. Jackson Kaspari, resilience manager/city planner, will lead this session in a case study on how Dover is approaching these issues and leveraging statewide partnerships on its path to become a more resilient community.

Teen Movie Night: 'Warm Bodies'

DOVER — On Thursday, Feb. 8 at 6 p.m. teens in grades 7-12 are invited to join the Dover Public Library for a showing of "Warm Bodies" (rated PG-13). Themed snacks and drinks will be provided.

Seacoast Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol information night

PORTSMOUTH — The Seacoast Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol will be holding an information night on Thursday, Feb. 8 at the Service Credit Union, 3003 Lafayette Road, Portsmouth, starting at 6:30 p.m. Our members will be on hand to talk about what it is like to be a member of our squadron. DOVER — On Feb. 10, at 7 p.m., the Lions Club of Dover, Rollinsford and South Berwick will host a Comedy Night to benefit community initiatives at Corner Point Brewing Company in Berwick, Maine. Books ‘n Puzzles sale

Vow renewal Sunday

PORTSMOUTH — On Sunday, Feb. 11, from 2 to 4 p.m., join the North Church, 2 Congress St., Portsmouth, for Vow Renewal Sunday. We'll be opening our doors for all couples to come and renew their vows in our sanctuary.
