Collinsville's Quintavious Rogers six touchdown night leads Gadsden area top performers for Oct. 27

Here are the Gadsden area top performers in high school football, volleyball and cross country for the week ending on Oct. 27:

Football

Boaz's Tristan Childers ran for 188 yards and four touchdowns in a 45-21 win over Douglas.

Boaz's Tyler Pierce accounted for 150 yards and a touchdown.

Boaz's Elijah Kelly had 147 yards on kickoff returns including an 89-yard kickoff return touchdown.

Collinsville's Quintavious Rogers ran for 198 yards and six touchdowns in a 56-7 win over North Sand Mountain. He added a 62-yard reception and an interception on defense.

Collinsville's Gavin Lang caught two interceptions

Collinsville's Mason McAteer went 7 of 11 for 140 yards and ran for 113 yards and a score.

Etowah's Dayton Porter ran for a touchdown in a 42-10 loss to Cullman.

Fyffe's Logan Anderson ran for 106 yards and two touchdowns in a 46-0 win over Ider.

Gadsden City's Dre Kirkpatrick Jr. returned the opening kickoff 80 yards in a 46-0 over Calera. He added three tackles including one for a loss.

Gadsden City's TJ Worthy ran for 72 yards and two touchdowns.

Gadsden City's Luke Waldrop threw for 150 yards and a touchdown while adding a score on the ground.

Geraldine's Jaxon Colvin ran for 98 yards with a score and went 5 of 6 for 101 yards and two touchdowns through the air in a 56-7 win over Glencoe.

Geraldine's Carlos Mann ran for 82 yards and three touchdowns

Guntersville's Enelson Delva ran for 141 yards and a touchdown in a 55-0 win over Sardis.

Guntersville's Braden Holsonback picked off two passes.

Guntersville's Julyon Jordan ran for 59 yards and two touchdowns.

Guntersville's Cam Logan caught two touchdowns.

Guntersville's Eli Morrison threw for 184 yards and three touchdowns.

Guntersville's Dadrien Waller had three catches for 100 yards and a touchdown.

Hokes Bluff's Anderson Morgan accounted for 130 yards and two touchdowns in a 22-21 overtime loss to Piedmont.

Hokes Bluff's Bryce Whitaker ran for 64 yards while catching a 27-yard touchdown.

Piedmont's William Gumm ran for 103 yards and a touchdown in a 22-21 overtime win over Hokes Bluff.

Sand Rock's Rock Sainsbury ran for 85 yards in a 51-12 loss to Locust Fork.

Sardis's Blaze Gerhart ran for 80 yards in a 55-0 loss to Guntersville.

Volleyball

Cherokee County's Macy Lea recorded 90 kills in three matches at the 4A North Regional.

Cherokee County's Nevaeh Gaidurgis had 56 kills in three matches.

Sand Rock's Katelyn St. Clair had 77 kills and 49 digs in four matches while leading the Wildcats to a third place finish in the North 2A Regional.

Sand Rock's Rylin St. Clair had 131 assists in four matches.

Cross Country

Boaz's Jack Soriano finished second in the Marshall County meet with a time of 17:55

Plainview's Jason Bruce ran a 21:14 to win the Jackson/Dekalb meet.

Pisgah's Nevaeh Evans finished runner-up in the Jackson/Dekalb meet with a time of 21:32.

Pisgah's Tristian Little ran for 17:36 to win the Jackson/Dekalb meet.

Sand Rock's Caleb Yoder ran a 16:25 at the James Clemens Under the Lights Festival.
