College Football World Reacts To BYU Schedule News
The college football world reportedly isn’t getting Coastal Carolina against Liberty on Saturday. The two top 25 teams were scheduled to square off in South Carolina on Saturday afternoon. ESPN’s College GameDay was set to be in town for the game.
While that game isn’t happening, another big one reportedly is.
Coastal Carolina is now reportedly scheduled to take on BYU.
The two top 25 teams will reportedly meet on Saturday, as Liberty is dealing with COVID-19 issues. The Cougars appeared to confirm the news on social media on Thursday morning.

ESPN host Peter Burns, meanwhile, sees this as a reason for other games to be scheduled.
“Listen, if BYU can roll cross country on 2 days to play a huge college football game….there is ZERO reason why Texas and Texas A&M can’t figure out a way to put that rivalry back on the schedule,” he tweeted.
