College football rankings: SEC teams in updated Coaches Poll, AP Top 25 after Week 10

Despite all the ups and downs that have occurred throughout the 2023 college football season, it seems the SEC has once again reverted to a top two comprising Georgia and Alabama.

Both the top-ranked Bulldogs (9-0, 6-0 SEC) and No. 8 Alabama (8-1, 6-0) faced tough competition at home on Saturday. But Kirby Smart's Bulldogs beat No. 14 Missouri 30-21 while Nick Saban's Crimson Tide exacted revenge on No. 13 LSU, 42-28, to take commanding leads in their respective divisional races.

Elsewhere, Sam Pittman and Arkansas served a stunning 39-36 overtime upset to Florida — one that could cost the Razorbacks millions of dollars if they decide to part ways with him after the season. South Carolina outlasted Jacksonville State 38-28 in a battle of Gamecocks in another game of surpising finishes.

Then there was No. 10 Ole Miss' 38-35 defeat of Jimbo Fisher's Texas A&M squad, one that dropped the Aggies to 5-4 on the season and resulted in a last-minute jab from Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart.
