ESPN “College GameDay” personality Lee Corso is one of the most beloved figures in college football. On Saturday, a picture of Corso watching the SEC championship game between Georgia and Alabama only added to his fandom.

Peter Burns, an ESPN colleague of Corso’s, tweeted the photo during the game.

“This man is a national treasure,” Burns said. “Find someone who loves College Football as much as Lee Corso.”

Others also shared their admiration for the legendary co-host.

“If you don’t like Corso then I don’t know what to tell you,” one fan said.

“Lee Corso gets to be on GameDay as long as he wants,” another added.

The old ball coach picked No. 3 Alabama to upset the Bulldogs and he ended up being right. The Tide rolled No. 1 Georgia 41-24 on the way to another SEC title during the Nick Saban era.

You won’t find many that love the college game more than Sunshine Scooter. At 86-years-old, Corso still has the energy to make those classic headgear picks on “GameDay.” Saturday’s was one of his best.

We’ll see if Corso can continue picking the right mascot head gear into the College Football Playoff.
