Are you a collector? 'American Pickers' are coming to NJ, maybe you have their next pick

Do you live in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Maryland? Do you or someone you know have a garage filled with old cars, a room of antiques, pin ball machines, signs, or really any interesting or historically significant collection? If so, it is your time to shine.

The "American Pickers" will be coming to New Jersey and the surrounding area in April, and they are looking for interesting characters with interesting collections.

For anybody who has not watched the show, "American Pickers" is a "documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique 'picking' on The History Channel."

The Pickers go coast to coast looking for forgotten relics, fun and interesting characters and stories, and a chance to give historically significant objects a second life.

"The Pickers have seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they've never seen before," said a press release from the Pickers. "They are ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tales about them."

If you or someone you know has a unique item, story to tell, and is ready to sell, the Pickers would love to hear from you.

Please note, they do not pick stores, flea markets, malls, auction business, museums, or anything open to the public.

If you fit the part and are interested in being featured, send your full name, phone number, location, and description of your collection with photos to americanpickers@cineflix.com or call 646-493-2184.

New Jersey picks

Back in 2019, Pickers Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz visited Sam Tripsas of Oradell who has collected antiques for decades including clocks, signs, gasoline pumps, and his Coca Cola machine that is over 35 years old.

The Pickers went home with a Flying A Gas service sign and an old Coke soda machine.

What might they find in your collection?
