When the Cabin Corner Crew lottery club meets, the four members grab dinner and buy some Michigan lottery tickets.

At a recent meetup, one of the four lottery players wanted pizza, so they went to The Cabin in Mt. Pleasant, according to an Oct. 7 news release from the Michigan Lottery.

They each put up $20 for Lucky 7’s Fast Cash game, and the club representative placed the tickets on the table face down — a club tradition.

“As we started turning them over, we saw the jackpot had reset,” the club representative told Michigan Lottery. “The last ticket we turned over was the jackpot winner! We all started screaming and saying words you probably shouldn’t say in public!”

They won the $616,985 Lucky 7’s Fast Cash jackpot, officials said.

“The whole place was celebrating with us, and I slipped out to put the ticket in my safe,” the player, who chose to remain anonymous, said. “It was such a surreal experience.”

The four members plan to pay bills and save their respective winnings, according to the news release.

Mt. Pleasant is about 85 miles northeast of Grand Rapids.
