A clothing swap bank in Cleethorpes has opened to help people struggling with the rising cost of living.

The Clee Clothing Swap Bank is running every Monday from today at the Oswin Centre.

People can swap up to 10 items and there is no need for proof of financial status.

It has been set up by Donna Chatten, who says the feedback so far has been "amazing".

Ms Chatten told BBC Radio Humberside: "I was reading on Facebook and finding that people were struggling. I would say there's a really high demand.

"This day and age it's hard to buy food and it's hard to get clothes. Shops are disappearing off our streets and the feedback is that people think it's amazing, let's go for it."

The clothes bank is open every Monday from 10am to 12pm, 1pm to 3pm and 6pm to 8pm.

Volunteers and donations are still needed and swaps are for the same amount of donated articles but do not have to be like for like - adult clothes can be exchanged for children's.
