Clemson basketball will be seeking its first win at Miami in three years on Wednesday when the Tigers face the Hurricanes at the Watsco Center.
The game will be the 33rd between the ACC rivals, with the series tied at 16 victories apiece. Miami has won three consecutive games in the series by a total of 12 points.
For Clemson (11-1, 1-0 ACC), whose lone defeat this season is a two-point loss at Memphis on Dec. 16, Wednesday’s game will mark the first of 19 consecutive ACC games to conclude the regular season.
Miami (10-2, 1-0) has lost only twice, but both were by decisive margins – a 22-point loss at Kentucky in the ACC-SEC Challenge and a 27-point loss against Colorado in the NABC Brooklyn Showcase.
Clemson is ranked No. 16 in the latest USA TODAY Coaches Poll and the Tigers are No. 8 in the latest NET rankings, which is higher than any ACC team.
