CLEMSON — Clemson baseball faces No. 17 Georgia on Tuesday in a midweek ranked matchup at Foley Field.
Clemson (32-7, 13-5 ACC) took down Charlotte on April 16 and beat Pittsburgh 2-1 in a weekend series. Pitcher Tristian Smith returned from injury Friday and logged four strikeouts and four runs (one earned) across 2⅔ innings, and Jimmy Obertop belted three home runs in the second game of a Saturday doubleheader to clinch the series.
The Tigers rose from No. 6 to No. 4 in the latest USA TODAY Coaches Poll and sit atop the ACC’s Atlantic Division.
