CLEMSON — Clemson baseball faces USC Upstate on Tuesday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium for the final time in the regular season.

Clemson won the first meeting 12-6 at home on Feb. 22 behind a school record-tying three home runs from Will Taylor. Then, it routed USC Upstate 11-1 in seven innings on April 2 after scoring five runs in the second inning and five in the fifth at Fluor Field in Greenville.

After sweeping Notre Dame this past weekend, the Tigers (28-3, 10-2 ACC) rank No. 2 in the latest USA TODAY Coaches Poll. They have won 11 straight series in league play and are atop the ACC’s Atlantic Division.

USC Upstate (21-12, 10-2 Big South) swept Winthrop over the weekend and looks to avoid a nonconference regular-season sweep Tuesday.
