Claudia Schiffer is a pavlova fan—thanks to the recent coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla.

The supermodel, who recently released a collection titled "Cloudy Butterflies" for Portugese brand Bordallo Pinheiro, opened up about what's on her table lately to Architectural Digest. Her answer was surprising: "Since King Charles's coronation I have been obsessed with having a Pavlova on my butterfly cake stand. It looks amazing and is so delicious!

Upon further research, we learned that Schiffer threw a coronation watch party on May 6, and her mouth-watering spread included coronation chicken, coronation quiche, savory pie, deviled eggs, kedgeree (a spiced rice and fish dish), English cream tea, scones, finger sandwiches, fruit tart, and, of course, a pavlova topped with strawberries.

While there was no official coronation pavlova, chef Jamie Oliver did share a "Pavolva royale"recipe, described as a "dessert is fit for royalty." You can watch him make the recipe here:

Bordallo Pinheiro describes Schiffer's new ceramic line as inspired by the English countryside, so it is fitting that she would display the dessert inspired by King Charles, a noted lover of the outdoors, on her butterfly cake stand.

Schiffer also told AD she loves entertaining with her husband, Matthew Vaughn. The two live in the countryside with their three children. "We like to have family friends come over and stay the weekend; we’ll have long meals, drink wine, play cards, battle it out over a game of pool or backgammon," she said. "In the summer we’re definitely outside, playing croquet or tennis. We watch movies as it gets colder or, if everyone’s up for it, we end the evening with karaoke and more wine." And, we're guessing, plenty of pavlova!
