City roadwork to close downtown streets

Apr. 15—San Francisco Street will be closed to traffic Tuesday on the Santa Fe Plaza.

The street is scheduled to be closed from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday while a crane replaces three fan units on the roof of 66 E. San Francisco, according to the city. Detours will be in place.

In the Railyard, the extension of Garfield Street leading to the Santa Fe Train Depot, Vladem Contemporary and Tomasita's restaurant is scheduled to be closed Monday and Tuesday for grading and gravel work by the city Public Works Department.

Tomasita's can be accessed by Manhattan Avenue, and the depot and Vladem by pedestrian walkways during the closures.
