CincyJams battle of the bands is back

ArtsWave's CincyJams, Cincinnati’s workplace battle of the bands fundraiser, is back.

Bands from SHP, Jake Sweeney Automotive, Great American Insurance, GE Aerospace, P&G, Great American Insurance and altafiber will raise money for the arts while competing for various prizes, including beer for a year.

The free fundraising event is at 7 p.m. Friday, May 10 at Hard Rock Cafe, 1000 Broadway St., Cincinnati.

RSVP and if you're one of the first 200 in the door, you'll receive a drink ticket to use at the event. All attendees will get complimentary admission to country music up-and-comer Nate Smith’s concert on May 31.

CincyJams is brought to you by Accenture, with sponsors Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati, Cincinnati Music Festival presented by P&G, Gold Star, The Cincinnati Enquirer and Radio One.

ArtsWave, a local nonprofit, raises millions of dollars each year for the arts.
