While some people crack open a cold beer after a long day at the office, Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy simply enjoys a block of cheese.

In an interview alongside co-stars Robert Downey Jr. and Emily Blunt, Murphy opened about his go-to "decompression" hack. After filming wrapped, the 47-year-old actor said he "did eat a lot of cheese," according to People. When asked why, his on-screen wife elaborated. "Because he needed to decompress. Cheese is a great decompression," Blunt said.

If you've paid close enough attention then you'd know this is more than just a one time thing for Murphy. Unlike me, who would be praying to the Lactaid gods for survival, Cillian finds his ~zen~ with a hunk of dairy. In fact, during a Los Angeles Q&A, the Oscar-nominated actor said he was coping with the SAG-AFTRA Strike by "staying at home, eating cheese," Vulture reports. When asked if he had stopped, Murphy replied, "yesterday"—meaning he quit his cheese habit the very day the strike ended.

When asked about his favorites, Murphy made one thing clear. He doesn't just eat cheese. His go-to variety is "good cheese."

"Like an aged cheddar from cheddar companies," he said of his favorite kind, while adding that he would "take a whole wheel" of parmesan cheese if he "could get it through customs."

Murphy isn't the only dairy-loving celeb with a steel stomach. When Austin Butler needed to gain weight for his role in Elvis, the actor took a nod from Ryan Gosling and straight up drank lots of ice cream.

"I heard that Ryan Gosling, when he was going to do The Lovely Bones, had microwaved Häagen-Dazs and would drink it. So I started doing that," Butler said, while adding that he would eat two dozen donuts at a time, too. "It's fun for a week [but then] you feel awful about yourself." Sounds like Austin needs a lil cheese to take the edge off, huh?
