Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration returns with a big showing at Broadway at the Beach

Broadway At The Beach is going to get you in the holiday spirit with their annual Christmas tree lighting celebration.

On Saturday, Nov. 12, beginning at 6 p.m. This free event is open to the public and will begin at the courtyard of The Hangout restaurant.

Spend an enjoyable evening with friends and family, hosted by Ed Piotrowski, WPDE’s Chief Meteorologist. Their will be live performances by Socastee High Schools Socastee Singers, Broadway Theater’s Hot Jersey Nights Christmas Special, Legends In Concert, Carolina Dance District and the Myrtle Beach Youth Choir.

The lighting of the Christmas tree will take place, which is located across the lake next to Margaritaville, there will also be a surprise guest making an appearance from the North Pole.

A fireworks display will take place at 8 p.m. over lake Broadway.

This spectacular event of the tree lighting will be one you don’t want to miss, however if you are unable to attend the tree can be admired throughout the holiday season, the Broadway at the Beach tree will feature a synchronized music and light show every 30 minutes from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
