Christina Hendricks showed off her love of lace and beautiful costuming as she shared a photo of a recent outfit inspired by the film Poor Things.

The starlet posted a series of snaps on Instagram on March 17 showing herself modeling a black mini dress covered in lace, with puffy sleeves and lace tights underneath. Hendricks paired the dress with high boots and wavy hair.

"Sees #Poorthings once," she captioned the update, before tagging the film's Academy Award-winning costume designer, Holly Waddington.

Fans were also feeling the vibe, with comments about the outfit like, "It’s all in the Puffy Sleeves💯," "Lace always suits you 😍," and "Love your dress, it looks so pretty on you!!"

"Damn Girl bringing the heat 🔥," wrote another, while someone else proclaimed Hendricks "Sensational as always! ❤️."

Many fans of Hendricks seem to share her taste in films as well, as quite a few also noted their appreciation for the Emma Stone-led movie Poor Things in the comments. One even wrote, "When I watched Poor Things I was completely sure that you’d love this movie."

Hendricks appears to enjoy period film and fashion as she's acted in quite a few such projects. Most recently, Hendricks portrayed the character Mrs. Patricia St. George in The Buccaneers, a drama set in the 1870s. The first season premiered last November to great reviews, and it is already renewed for a second season.

Other period dramas Hendricks appeared in include Mad Men and Another Period, while another one of her most prominent roles is the modern-set dramedy Good Girls, co-starring Retta and Mae Whitman.

As fans wait for the next season of The Buccaneers, Hendricks continues to keep fans updated with plenty of photos on social media, whether it's a stunning throwback from her early days or more lacy fashion.
