Christina Hall Shares Update 'One Month on' amid Divorce from Josh Hall: 'There is a New Level of Gratitude'

Christina Hall is getting candid about life following the recent announcement of her divorce.

The Christina on the Coast host, 41, shared in a post on Friday, Aug. 9, that she has a “new level of gratitude” in a personal update amid her divorce from Josh Hall.

Christina wrote on her Instagram Stories, “One month later ... I finally have my appetite back. I'm exercising again. My kids are happy and our house feels like home. 'Those poor kids' adore me ... anyone who knows us for real knows this and that's what matters.”

The HGTV star went on to share that she’s “laughed more than I have in forever” recently on nights out with friends and that “work is going so good it feels like a dream.”

Speaking about her current outlook on life, Christina explained, “I have a life coach and I made myself and her a promise — I will never ever give away my peace again. I will say — if you've ever lost peace and gained it back there is a new level of gratitude for every single moment of life. A huge level of appreciation for the present moments and being present.”

“If that’s the lesson I'll take it. When you have a positive mindset the rest will work itself out like it always does 🤍🤍,” she concluded.

Christina followed up her message with a sweet photo of her lying indoors with her sons Brayden, 8, and Hudson, 4, as she wrote, “Perfect Friday Night 🤍.”

The TV host shares her son Brayden and daughter Taylor, 13, with her first husband Tarek El Moussa. She shares her youngest son Hudson, 4, with her second husband Ant Anstead.

News of Christina and Josh’s divorce broke in July, when, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE on July 16, Josh filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences" and requested spousal support. Christina responded with her own filing on July 24 in which she requested that neither party receive spousal support.

More recently, Josh was seen in PEOPLE exclusive photos moving out of their $12 million Newport Beach, Calif., home on Aug. 5. This followed his speaking out on Instagram about the divorce for the first time on Aug. 2. when he said, in part: “I prefer privacy, especially during something as life-changing as a divorce I did not ask for," and added, “I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them.”

On Aug. 7, Christina was seen in happy spirits filming her new HGTV series The Flip Off, in which she was originally supposed to appear with her estranged husband, as Josh was not seen.

The upcoming house-flipping competition show was initially going to see the former couple face off against Christina’s ex Tarek, 42, and his new wife, Selling Sunset alum Heather El Moussa, 36.

The show is set to premiere in 2025 and on July 23, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that Christina had returned to filming the series, though without her estranged husband.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Aug. 9, Christina posted a message on her Instagram Stories to those reaching out to her with romantic messages since the news of her divorce.

“Dear men. Your hand written / typed letters are cute but no you will not be my 4th ex husband 🤪," she jokingly wrote as she addressed fans.
