Christina Hall’s Estranged Husband Josh Removes “The Flip Off” Promos from His Instagram's Main Page Amid Divorce

The ‘Christina on the Coast’ star was set to star in the upcoming competition series with Josh before he filed for divorce on July 15

Christina Hall’s estranged husband Josh appears to be clearing out his Instagram account amid their split.

After filing for divorce on July 15, Josh, 43, has seemingly removed all promo videos that he was featured in for The Flip Off from the main page of his Instagram account (the videos are still shared under the Instagram Reels tab on his profile).

Josh was set to star in the upcoming HGTV series alongside Christina, 41, her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, 42, and Tarek’s wife Heather Rae, 36. On July 23, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE that the trio have resumed filming the competition show without Josh.

The series was meant to feature both couples as they compete against each other in the house flipping showdown. It remains unclear how the show will be reconstructed without Josh.

However, Christina recently responded to a fan’s comment on Instagram saying it would be a “genius ratings idea” to have her second husband Ant Anstead replace Josh on the show. She later shut the idea down for now when she told Backgrid that she “can’t work with any more exes” in July.

A representative for Josh declined to comment on the status of the show. PEOPLE also reached out to HGTV for comment but has not yet received a response.

Multiple promotions for The Flip Off that intentionally leaned into the complicated relationships between the foursome have been shared by its stars since May — including a clip that was a play on Christina and Heather’s resemblance.

Another video shared jointly to Josh and Tarek’s Instagram accounts included a spoof of the 2008 film Step Brothersthat appeared to demonstrate the playful nature of the pair’s relationship.

Christina was married to Tarek — whom she starred with in her first HGTV show, Flip or Flop — until they divorced in 2016. They continued filming the series until 2022 and share two children together — Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8.

She also shares son Hudson, 4, with Anstead. The exes were married from December 2018 until September 2020.

Josh — who was often featured on Christina’s shows Christina on the Coast and Christina in the Country — filed for divorce from the designer due to “irreconcilable differences,” according to the filing obtained by PEOPLE on July 16. He also requested spousal support from his now-estranged wife.

The pair were first linked in July 2021, and PEOPLE confirmed they had secretly married in April 2022. According to Josh’s divorce filing, the two had officially wed six months earlier on Oct. 6, 2021.

Earlier in August, Josh broke his silence on their divorce for the first time in an Instagram post.

“I prefer privacy, especially during something as life-changing as a divorce I did not ask for,” Josh wrote in the caption alongside a photo of him and his dog Stella.

“I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately, the internet is forever,” he continued. “We are real humans, this is our life and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time.”

"Those who know each of us, know who we are," he concluded the post.
