This 'Christina on the Coast' Project Has the Best Views of the Season

Your home can have an expansive footprint and a generous renovation budget, but as the latest episode of Christina on the Coast proves, very few things can rival a great view. This week, HGTV star Christina Hall embarked on a (slightly chaotic) mission to renovate a family's open-concept kitchen. Admittedly, a 1,400-square-foot home for a family of five is a little tight. However, what this home lacks in square footage, it makes up for in a stunning ocean view. (The view is so good that even Hall's design partner, James Bender, couldn't resist sharing it in Instagram stories.)

"They bought it knowing it's a bit small, but apparently there's a phenomenal ocean view," Hall explained to Bender at the beginning of the episode. "So they probably spend a lot of time outside."

Hall was right. Not only did clients Jenny and Tobias call the view their "most expensive piece of art," but they also shared that the whole family unwinds outside. "We spend a ton of time in the backyard," Jenny shared. "We have our wine, sit out there, and watch the kids play soccer. We probably do that three or four times a week."

With a view this sublime, it's only fitting to make it the main focus of the renovation project—which is exactly what Hall did. The HGTV celeb added large, sun-drenched windows and glass sliding doors so her clients can enjoy the stunning vista inside and outside. She even moved over Tobias and Jenny's "sweet spot" so they could still enjoy their wine nights alfresco. "It's even better," Jenny mused.

This view might be stellar, but how does it stack up against the ones we've seen throughout the season? If you ask us, it's the best. Tobias and Jenny's home may be further away from the water than Michael and Shawn's in episode 11; however, the low-slung homes in front of Tobias and Jenny's place gives them unobstructed sight lines. (Meanwhile, Michael and Shawn's are partially blocked by taller trees.)

The only panorama in our opinion that could potentially beat Tobias and Jenny's is the one from Christina's own home that we saw in the season premiere. Now if you'll excuse us, we're going to rewatch that episode and fall in love with it all over again….
