Christie Brinkley Celebrates Milestone Birthday With a Splash in Carefree Swimsuit Photos

Christie Brinkley is 70! And the supermodel celebrated her milestone birthday with photos and a playful message for her fans.
On Friday, Feb. 9, Brinkley took to her Instagram grid with a carousel of swimsuit-clad images of herself—and the featured photo showed her leaping off a boat.
"Jumping into 70 with a boatload of fun and counting my blessings everyday!" she wrote. "12 of them are in the last photo! #friends #sensational70 #livelyupyourself 🩵💙🩵."
In the comments, celebrities and regular folks wished Brinkley a happy birthday. They also marveled over her seemingly ageless appearance.
Heidi Klum commented, "Happy Birthday 🥳❤️The best compliment I get, is when people tell me I look like you. 😍"
Another Instagram user wrote, "Fun, fun, fun!!!! The water is amazing. Wow, 70 my dear! Looking as fabulous as ever!"

A few days prior, Brinkley reflected on turning 70 (her birthday was on Feb. 2) via Instagram with a poem and more photos.
"This is 70, and you’ve nothing to fear / Because you can make it your very own favorite year!" she wrote. "It’s up to you, it’s in your power / To choose to celebrate instead of cower."
In addition to giving advice about exercising, eating right and using sunblock, she joked about not forgetting to pack her dentures.
Brinkley continued, "Seriously, laugh and love with all your might …and I promise you 70 will be all right!🩵💙🩵."
