Chrissy Teigen Says Meghan Markle's Jam Is 'One of the Best Bites' She's Had All Year – Here’s What She Made With It

The first product from the Duchess of Sussex's new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, was announced as strawberry jam.

Chrissy Teigen is one of the lucky celebrities who got sent a jar of Meghan Markle’s new jam.

Earlier this month, the first product from the Duchess of Sussex's new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, was announced as strawberry jam. Teigen shared a video of herself making a tasty-looking sandwich for her whole family using the fruity condiment.

“We jammin!! This might have been one of the best bites we’ve had all year - all we used is some rustic bread, salted butter, triple cream brie, thick cut bacon and some @americanrivieraorchard jam!” she wrote in the caption. Bob Marley & the Wailers’ “Jamming” plays throughout the clip.

The melty sandwich wasn’t just for herself — the meal was approved by her family, too.

“Took about 8 mins total and made us happy for the entire weekend. 🤍” she closed out the caption.

In the video, Teigen takes fans through her cooking process, starting (of course!) by smearing the jam on the crusty bread and then frying bacon.

Teigen and John Legend’s 7-year-old daughter, Luna, makes an appearance as she licks the offset spatula clean of Meghan's strawberry jam.

After the mom of four assembles and cooks the bacon, brie and jam sandwich, Legend makes a cameo in the clip and takes a hearty bite with his wife.

This isn’t the only top-notch meal the cookbook author has made for her Grammy-winning husband this month. She recently went viral for chronicling her trip to China in which she went to purchase $900 worth of wagyu steak and short ribs from Legend’s favorite butcher.

“My husband John really loves short ribs and the kids were away at camp so of course I hopped on a plane to China to visit his most favorite butcher,” Teigen began in the voiceover for the satirical video, which documented her trip, as well as her cooking the dish she made out of her lavish purchase.

She poked fun at her feat in the spot with several jokes overlaid in the post.

“I did steal John’s credit card before I left so it made paying $900 an absolute breeze,” she added as the video switched to a clip of her paying for the wagyu steaks and short ribs before leaving the butcher shop with a bag and jumping back on a plane.

Back at home, Teigen looked up the recipe for her braised short ribs in her second cookbook, Cravings: Hungry For More.

While at the City Harvest Gala in New York City on April 10, the couple spoke about the popular video.

"The more and more I did it, I realized that I do this all the time, realistically," Teigen told PEOPLE at the gala. "So it's not even mocking anybody. It's actually a lifestyle that I love, and I want to be a part of."

Although the clip was clearly a joke, Legend told PEOPLE that Teigen actually does turn their family meals into a labor of love.

"She loves to take time with meals and put care into it," he said, adding that the post is a "massive hit."

He also said that her braised short ribs meal is his favorite recipe that Teigen makes.
