Chrissy Teigen honors late son Jack’s due date before heading into Thursday endometriosis surgery

Chrissy Teigen marked her late son Jack’s due date before heading into endometriosis surgery scheduled for Thursday.

The cookbook author, model and online influencer shared her ongoing grief in a Twitter post.

“My little jack would have been born this week so I’m a bit off. I truly feel kicks in my belly, but it’s not phantom. I have surgery for endometriosis tomorrow,” she shared with her followers.

“The period feeling this month is exactly like baby kicks. sigh,” she wrote.

Teigen also shared video Wednesday showing visible movement in her stomach.

“Look at this,” she wrote with a weary face emoji. “I’ll pretend it’s him saying hi – it never stops.”

She asked other women to share their experiences with endometriosis surgery and its recovery, creating an online support group generating awareness about the common condition.

“Like, can I make soup after?” she asked.

“Let them make you soup! Bark orders! Get a bullhorn!” actress Patricia Arquette replied as one of thousands of fans sending Teigen their well wishes and recovery tips.

Teigen, 35, shares 4-year-old daughter Luna and 2-year-old son Miles with husband John Legend, 42.

It was four months ago that Teigen suffered her miscarriage after a harrowing medical ordeal.

“Driving home from the hospital with no baby. How can this be real,” she tweeted Oct. 1.

“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before,” Teigen said in an Instagram post.
