Chris Pratt Calls Backlash to His Controversial Katherine Schwarzenegger Instagram “F*cked Up”
Chris Pratt has broken his silence over backlash to a message he wrote about his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger back in 2021. To refresh your memory real fast, Chris posted this Instagram in November of last year.
“Guys. For real. Look how she’s looking at me!” he wrote in part. “I mean. Find you somebody that looks at you like that!! You know!? We met in church. She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes I put in my earbuds to drown it out, but that’s love! She helps me with everything. In return, periodically, I open a jar of pickles.”
Followers took issue with Chris praising Katherine for giving him a “gorgeous healthy daughter” while Anna Faris has been open about their son’s health issues.

Chris addressed the criticism for the first time in an interview with Men’s Health, saying, “I said something like, ‘Find someone who looks at you the way my wife looks at me.’ And then I gave her some shit in the thing and said, ‘But I love you. I’m so thankful for my wife—she gave me a beautiful, healthy daughter.’ And then a bunch of articles came out and said, ‘That’s so cringeworthy. I can’t believe Chris Pratt would thank her for a healthy daughter when his first child was born premature. That’s such a dig at his ex-wife.’ And I’m like, That is fucked up. My son’s gonna read that one day. He’s 9. And it’s etched in digital stone. It really fucking bothered me, dude. I cried about it. I was like, I hate that these blessings in my life are—to the people close to me—a real burden.”
He also noted, “My publicist would be like, ‘I’m sweating, Chris, I’m sweating. What happened to the it’s-an-honor-just-to-be-nominated-let’s-move-on fucking line that we talked about?’”
Guess he wasn’t ready to move on!
