Chris Pratt Addresses Future of TV Show 'The Terminal List'
Marvel star Chris Pratt has addressed the future of his Prime Video series The Terminal List.
Although the streaming platform is yet to announce a renewal, the Guardians of the Galaxy actor has suggested that Lieutenant Commander James Reece will be back.
"To the rabid fans of The Terminal List out there, you have nothing to worry about," he told Deadline. "We love you and appreciate your support. It’s our life’s mission to make sure you can come back to the well. We are working away."
Jack Carr, who wrote the series of books the military drama is based on (with more to come), added: "There may be some cool stuff on the horizon being discussed."
The Terminal List follows James Reece (Pratt), a Navy SEAL who believes that his platoon was murdered and sets out to prove there was a conspiracy at work.
Previously speaking about his hopes for season 2, Pratt told Digital Spy: "Well, Jack Carr's written five extraordinary books. He's quite a prolific author, and they're all reading the top of the New York Times' Best Seller list. I think it'd be fantastic to keep it going."
If season 2 does get the green light (which is looking very hopeful), then it will likely be based on Carr's second book in the series, True Believer, which executive producer David DiGilio says fans of the show should read.
"We're really lucky–Jack [Carr] is writing at an incredibly fast pace, a novel per year It's a little faster than we can make the shows, so he's maybe too far out. Just take a little break, I'd say," he said.
"But we're really lucky, and I'd encourage anybody who loved season one, to go check out True Believer. It's an incredible read and it's a great blueprint for season two."
