Chris Hemsworth Says His 'Thor' Nude Scene Has Been A 'Dream' Of His For The Last 10 Years

It was also a major topic of discussion at the movie's red carpet premiere, where a reporter for Variety, presumably empowered by the collective thirst of the entire internet, had a fun, casual chat with Chris about his naked butt.

So, how did Chris Hemsworth feel when he first saw his Thor: Love and Thunder nude scene? Proud, but not for the reason you might think. He clearly knows his body is attractive by conventional beauty standards (or he should, at least, what with being cast as a literal god and all) and he's even shown of his conventionally-attractive ass on screen before. But getting some nudity into a Marvel movie? That takes work—a full decade of work, apparently.

"Well, I had [my butt] out in Rush many years ago, but in a Marvel film, it was a very large screen, it was a very big pair of cheeks," he said, before getting much more nonchalant about the whole thing. "I don't know, I've seen it before. Whatever."

The Chris Hemsworth Thirst Trap Chat didn't end there though. After a little obligatory banter about doing squats, Chris revealed that he's been low-key manifesting his Marvel nudity since the first Thor movie back in 2011.

"It was 10 years in the making, that scene—a dream of mine," he said. "The first time I played Thor I took my shirt off and I thought, 'You know what's gonna sweeten this…' A decade from now, it's all going to come off."

Worth. The. Wait.
