Chris Hemsworth Holds Matt Damon's Hand as He Gets Tattoo Ahead of Oscars
Chris Hemsworth and Matt Damon are ink buddies!
On Tuesday, tattoo artist Corina Weikl shared a special Instagram dump from a private tattoo session she had with the two movie stars and their wives -- Elsa Pataky and Luciana Barroso -- ahead of the 2024 Academy Awards earlier this month.

The photo carousel leads with a picture of the Thor actor showing off his new line work on the back of his bicep. The posts continue with pictures and videos of the session that was done at home, overlooking the Hollywood Hills. Hemsworth is a trouper as he lies on the table while getting inked.
Weikl's post continues with a picture of Damon lying on his back on the table, while Hemsworth stands over him and holds his hand as he receives his new body art. Making the moment even more hilarious, Pataky and Barroso look on and laugh in the background.
Meanwhile, in a video, Hemsworth can be heard speaking in the background as Damon lies on the table and gets the tattoo on the top of his arm, which appears to be the same arm where he got the ink in honor of his father in 2023.
The post ends with photos of Pataky on the table, getting a tattoo of a constellation on her hand.
Not pictured getting a tattoo is Barroso, who appears to be there to offer moral support.
Damon's session comes a year after he got the word "Nomad" tattooed on his arm in honor of his late father, Kent Damon. The word was the name of his boat, and is Damon spelled backward.
After the 2024 tattoo session, Damon, Hemsworth and their wives hit up the Oscars ceremony and the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, where they all posed for a series of photos together.
The Damons and the Hemsworths often put their friendship on display, whether it is during joint family vacations or at an Ed Sheeran concert.
