The Choco Taco is resurfacing once again! Nearly two years after Klondike's iconic Choco Taco was discontinued, another brand is bringing the popular frozen treat back.

In honor of Cinco de Mayo, Cold Stone Creamery will introduce its own take on the fan-favorite ice cream taco. Like the Choco Taco, Cold Stone's Waffle Ice Cream Taco will feature a sweet cream ice cream wrapped in a waffle taco and coated with chocolate and peanuts.

But here's the catch: Cold Stone's Choco Taco will only be back for one week. The taco will make its debut tomorrow, "Choco Tuesday," and will be available until Cinco de Mayo.

Although the new addition will only be available for a week, Cold Stone has pretty high hopes for the ice cream taco.

"Whether you're a fan of sweet treats or simply looking to add a fun, festive dessert to your Taco Tuesday and Cinco De Mayo festivities, the Waffle Ice Cream Taco is sure to be a crowd-pleaser," said Sara Schmillen, vice president of marketing at Kahala Brands, parent company of Cold Stone Creamery, in a statement.

Choco Taco resurrection has become very popular this year because it was just a few months ago when Salt & Straw partnered with Taco Bell to release their own version. Salt & Straw's take on the Choco Taco features a hand-pressed waffle cone filled with cinnamon ancho chile ice cream, dipped in single-origin chocolate, and studded with toasted brown rice.
