The Chiefs are 9-3 and planning for the postseason.

Single-game tickets for a potential AFC Wild Card home game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium will go on sale to the public at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, the Chiefs announced Tuesday.

Single-game tickets for the AFC Divisional Round and AFC Championship Game will go on sale at a later date, depending on playoff standing, the team said in a statement.

Jackson County taxpayers have an early pre-sale opportunity to secure single-game postseason tickets from 8-9:30 a.m. on Dec. 12. This sale is exclusive to online and potential purchasers must utilize a credit card with a billing zip code within Jackson County.

Season Ticket Members (STMs) can “opt in” for their postseason tickets on a “pay-as-we-play” basis, the team said. STMs also have an exclusive opportunity to purchase additional single-game tickets beginning at 10 a.m. on Dec. 12. The Chiefs will disseminate further information directly to STMs through email.

Non-STMs seeking to purchase tickets for any potential home playoff games can do so through a new season-ticket purchase, available at www.chiefs.com/tickets/.

All ticket deliveries will be mobile only — there will be no walk-up postseason ticket sales at the ticket office, the Chiefs announced.

With five games remaining in the 2022 regular season, the Chiefs are in the hunt for the AFC’s No. 1 overall seed, which would include a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the postseason.

Kansas City’s Week 13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, however, has the Chiefs and Buffalo Bills tied with identical 9-3 records. The Bills currently own the tie-break scenario because of their Week 6 win over the Chiefs, who would be the No. 2 seed if the season ended today.

The Chiefs can clinch the AFC West and a playoff berth in Week 14 with a win this Sunday at the Denver Broncos, plus a Los Angeles Chargers loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Here is the NFL’s playoff schedule:

  • Super Wild Card Weekend: Saturday, Jan. 14 – Monday, Jan. 16, 2023

  • Divisional Weekend: Saturday, Jan. 21 – Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023

  • AFC/NFC Championship Games: Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023
