Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes cracks top 10 in career playoff passing yards during Super Bowl
It took just five seasons as the starter for Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes to move into the top 10 for career postseason passing yards.
According to Pro Football Reference, Mahomes entered Super Bowl LVII in 11th place with 3,902 passing yards in playoff games. That was just 50 yards behind Hall of Famer Kurt Warner, who was in 10th.
Mahomes passed Warner in the first quarter with a 22-yard throw to tight end Travis Kelce.
Five of the quarterbacks in the top 10 are Hall of Famers, and the other five are either still active or are a lock to make it to Canton.

Mahomes started Sunday with 331 career completed passes in playoff games, just 10 behind former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb for 10th all-time.
Mahomes now has 352 completions for his playoff career, which puts him just three behind John Elway, who is ninth with 355.
Brady is the all-time leader with 1,200 playoff completions.
