The Chicken Run Flock Braves an Impossible Mission — and Mrs. Tweedy! — in Netflix Sequel Trailer
Ginger and the flock plot a break-in that will pit them against laser-controlled ducks, gun-toting moles and, yes, returning adversary Mrs. Tweedy (!) in the full trailer for Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, which premieres Friday. Dec. 15 on Netflix.
Hailing from Aardman and director Sam Fell, Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget — a follow-up to the hit 2000 stop-motion animated feature — finds Ginger & Co. living the dream after their death-defying escape from Tweedy’s farm, in a peaceful island sanctuary far from the dangers of the human world.

When Ginger and Rocky (voiced by Thandiwe Newton and Zachary Levi) hatch a little girl named Molly (The Last of Us‘ Bella Ramsey), the family’s happy ending seems complete. But back on the mainland, the whole of chicken-kind faces a new and terrible threat. And that leads Ginger and her team to put their hard-won freedom at risk and attempt the aforementioned break-in!
Miranda Richardson once again voices Melisha Tweedy aka Mrs. Tweedy, Ginger’s arch nemesis from the original film, while Peter Serafinowicz (Miracle Workers) voices Reginald Smith, a humourless businessman who with Tweedy poses a new and bigger threat to chicken-kind.
