Chick-fil-A Fans Drool Over 'Best' Milkshake Flavor Rumored to Return

Chick-fil-A's test menu items appear to be getting better by the day.

The fast food joint recently teased two new frozen drink options, and fans have made it clear that they're ready to sit back, relax and sip on the cool and creamy beverages all day long.

Foodie influencer Snackolater sparked the outcry with a recent upload suggesting Chick-fil-A's recent limited-edition rollout of its returning Banana Pudding milkshake flavor and new Banana Frosted Coffee was so successful the company "ran out of supplies long before the original end date" and that they were "begging [for this] to roll out nationwide immediately."

Social media users quickly echoed the excitement in the comments.

"I need that milkshake BAD," one exclaimed.

"They used to have this a while back," a second shared "it was definitely my favorite."

"Best shake they had.. they better load up on the supplies," a third joked.

"We had this about 10 yrs ago and they need to bring it back!!!!" someone else said of the rumored milkshake.

For those that don't remember the decades-old flavor, the official description claims the sweet treat is "hand-spun the old-fashioned way, this refreshing milkshake features Chick-fil-A® Icedream® dessert mixed with banana and vanilla wafer cookie crumbles, topped off with whipped cream and a cherry."

The caffeinated cold brew, on the other hand, reportedly features "a custom blend of cold-brewed coffee and our signature Icedream® dessert mixed with banana and delicious vanilla wafer cookie crumbles."

Similar to the chicken chain's Banana Pudding dessert–which fans claim tastes just like grandma's recipe–the milkshake and flavored cold brew coffee was only made available in select target markets, namely the Hapeville Dwarf House location not far from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, according to the Chick-fil-A site.

But rumor has it, the series of Banana Pudding desserts could be rolling out nationwide soon.

According to several replies to the Instagram influencer from accounts claiming to be Chick-fil-A employees, multiple comments suggested the milkshake, Banana Frosted Coffee and Banana Pudding dessert would be headed to all locations this August, around the time fall menus debut. However, conflicting statements are circulating, which suggest it's an either-or situation with only the milkshake re-launching nationwide.

When asked about the Banana Pudding dessert, a rep for Chick-fil-A told Parade that they couldn't confirm any fall offerings yet, but that even sweeter news regarding its summer-inspired items would be announced soon.
