Aside from money and diamonds (which we can all use more of), finding that right gift for your loved ones can be a challenge. In the final weekend of new Countdown to Christmas movies on Hallmark Channel, a personal shopper helps a contractor find the perfect gifts this holiday season including the gift of love.

What is The Secret Gift of Christmas about?

Perky self-confessed bachelorette Bonnie (Meghan Ory) has the best job in the world. As a personal shopper with a vibrant social presence, she has parlayed her passion for purchasing into a successful business. Her personal touch is what makes her stand out to her clients, but after being hired by gruff contractor Patrick (Christopher Russell), she finds she has her work cut out for her. Patrick is less than impressed by some of her choices, but when he sees the friendship blossoming between Bonnie and his daughter Phoebe (Ellie Cluett), he begins to appreciate her knack for understanding others. When he sees how her taste in gift selection is delighting his clients, he opens to the possibility that her sense of style might help him. The more time they spend together, Patrick gets a glimpse of the real Bonnie and not the social media persona she portrays for her business page. However, things get complicated when Bonnie’s thoughtfulness leads another woman to set her sights on Patrick. If Bonnie and Patrick can tear down the walls between them, they just might get the greatest gift of all – love.

Meghan Ory is best known to Hallmark viewers as Abby O'Brien in Chesapeake Shores. She also starred as Ruby/Red Riding Hood on Once Upon a Time. She has guest starred on Flash Gordon, Supernatural, and Hudson & Rex, the latter opposite her husband, John Reardon.

Christopher Russell

Russell has starred in three holiday movies this season - A Dash of Christmas and Peppermint and Postcards for Great American Family and The Secret Gift of Christmas.

Fun fact: Russell ties it up with Marcus Rosner, who also starred in three holiday films this season!
