Cherry Valley police investigating two stabbings

Two people were stabbed early Monday in the 1800 block of Millbrook Lane in Cherry Valley.

Police were called about 3:25 a.m. Once on scene, they learned one subject was self-transported to the hospital, and the other was taken by ambulance.

Police said their injuries are not life-threatening.

The Winnebago County Sheriff's Department is assisting in the investigation.
