Chelsea Handler explicitly offers to pay 50 Cent’s taxes if he retracts support for Trump: ‘Black Lives Matter, That’s you f---er!'
Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Chelsea Handler is putting her money where 50 Cent’s mouth is in an attempt to curb him from supporting Donald Trump.
After the rap icon caused a stir by publicly backing the caustic commander-in-chief after reportedly seeing Joe Biden’s proposed tax plan, his ex-girlfriend made a public plea for him to reverse course. The former vice president has said that under his administration he would raise taxes for those making $400,000 or more a year.
After asking her to not let politics get between them, the comedienne doubled down with another option — to take over the tax bill for him.
“Hey... I will pay your taxes in exchange for you coming to your senses,” she wrote on Twitter. “Happily! Black lives matter. That’s you... Remember?”
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, dated Handler briefly in 2010 after appearing on her groundbreaking late-night talk show “Chelsea Lately.” She currently has a celebrity net worth of $35 million.
“The Get Rich or Die Tryin'” hitmaker experienced a load of backlash over his original tweet with fans accusing him of choosing personal gain over the greater well-being of the country.
On the other hand, the former crack dealer turned “Power” producer also received support from the likes of well-known Trump supporters and political commentators Tomi Lahren and best-selling author Candace Owens.
“I just remembered i’m bankrupt, so i’m looking for a gracious loan can anyone help a brother out. LOL,” 50 Cent, who filed for bankruptcy in 2015, wrote in the caption along with a pair of hashtags used to promote his alcohol brands.

In 2012, Forbes reported that the South Jamaica, Queens, native was worth about $110 million.
The top celebrity social media troll’s current conservative-leaning stance is ironic considering he previously revealed how he turned down $500,000 to perform at Trump’s 2017 inauguration, telling “The Late Late Show” host James Corden: “To be honest with you, all money’s not good money. You’ve got to be careful what you’re doing publicly because...I don’t know how you fix that.”
But he seems to relish in the attention; 50 Cent’s pro-Trump rant made the cover of a Republican-leaning tabloid newspaper as another missive to knock Biden.
Not missing a beat, he used it as a opportunity to promote his “Power” spinoffs on the Starz cable network.
